X-Men movie REVIEW!

The X-men movie surprised me. If you have not seen the movie yet, turn away from the screen. What shocked me is that so many important characters die! I liked the movie and it was very entertaining, but action and special effects won over character development. The Colossus guy had maybe one line and the Kitty Pryde character could have been focused on a little bit more. The actress Ellen Page is the cutest thing!( I had to point that out!)

Some noteworthy parts of the film was the nice Danger Room sequence, the Moira MacTaggart Cameo and the introduction of the Bolivar Trask character. That sets up a sentinel sequel idea. Gosh, I am such a Marvel geek...
I spoke with The Bucce about the movie. He hopes that the DVD will add some more quality footage and help flesh out the characters a bit more. That would be an excellent Idea.

I thought it was the shiz-nizzle.

Hey, did you see "Hard Candy?"

I did not see "Hard Candy" but I want to! The poster for it rules.

I got my geek on with X-MEN 3. I'd say it's the best of the bunch, and thus, very satisfying. I was even finally able to buy Halle Berry as Storm, which had been a weak point with me. No more, she finally figured out the part. Sure, I would have liked to have seen more Kitty Pryde (my favourite character from back in the day) but who wouldn't?

Oh, and I suppose I could have waxws pseudo-intellectual about it's messages and stuff. But... nah. Stuff blowed up good and there were lots of characters on which to demonstrate my geek powers of recall.

I think that the Storm character had more to do. There were so many otheractors to focus on, she did not have a voice. Plus, the wig was better!
