Let's Drink!
As regular readers know, I am a fan of Advertising! I would like to comment on a trend I have noticed in ADs for alcohol. Take a look at the ads below. It's important to show the people enjoying your product and to show how wonderful the booze is, show the male to female ratio as 2 to 1! Do men buy more alcohol than women?
I especially like the Cuervo AD: It looks like two dudes just crashed a bachelorette party and it's off to the races!

I think men do purchase more alcohol than women - the women are shown as an enticement to the male drinker to show how wonderful consuming their brand could potentially be for them!
ReplyDeleteI think that women buy more wine, but men buy more beer. Personally, I choose Vodka!
