Ebony Magazine

Did you know that there is a continuing comic serial in the back ofEbonyMagazine? It's drawn by Denys Cowan and I had a chance to ink the August 2012 installment. I have been following the story for a while and I don't know how it's going to end.

Maguire did these pieces for a Justice League trading card set. I was able to make a copy from the originals because I knew the inker J. Rubenstein. Great stuff!

Fun With Ps6

I am having fun with the new version of Photoshop and it behaves a lot like Corel Painter. That's probably not an accident! I had an old version of the program, so I am learning the new stuff. The Black and White line art I used was an old 'Manga-ish' style I tried out years ago. This page is done clumsily, but I bet if I worked on it more it could look pretty slick.

Ready for Comic-Con?

I will be at the SDCC, but I won't have a table. You can find the FOSTER Anthology at The Artist Alley table FF20. That's Steve Buccellato'sbooth and he would love to meet you! He has a story in the anthology as do I and I have my own variant cover! As for me, I will be at the booth hanging out and signing whatever is put in front of me. 'FOSTER" Anthology

The Foster Anthology has been put to bed and it should be available at the San Diego Comic-Con! I'm happy with how my story turned out, even though it was a rush (what else is new). Take a look at the colored version of the page I have postedearlier.

The Spider-Man Press-Up

There is something cool about getting exercise advise from Spider-Man! This is an article from Esquire Magazine UK and it looks pretty effective. Maybe next month, there'll be weight-lifting advice from The Hulk.

Marvel Universe Art

I think it was a great idea to catalogue all the Marvel characters and put it into a book. All of their stats and a short origin. I don't know who might have come up with the idea( Shooter maybe?), but there was so much great art that came from the series. I am posting a few of my favorite pieces from the series. Art by Murphy Anderson, Jerry Ordway and Kevin Nowlan. Inks by Joe Rubinstein. I drew a few things for The Marvel Universe Index, but they were horrible!

TravelZoo Commercial

About a year ago, I drew some storyboards for a travel website called TravelZoo. I was sent the 60 second commercial and I was pleased to see that they kept a lot of my direction!
