Drawing Masks

 I have noticed that the pandemic has infiltrated the daily comic strips. The artists are drawing their characters with masks with various success. Here is my attempt at drawing masks.

Juneteenth Art

I grew up in Brooklyn, so I was unfamiliar with this holiday. When I moved to California, I learned more about this day when celebrations occur. The end of Slavery. I am happy to have been a part of
DC Comics Juneteenth remembrance. Pencilled by Denys Cowan and Inked by me.

Lauren Hogg ACTIVIST

I am happy to report that my latest book with Zuiker Press will be out soon! It's a story of the Parkland High School shooting written by Lauren Hogg. I love working on positive and worthwhile books! You will want to read this one the moment it hits the shelves.

I drew the pencils and the inks were done by my good friend Jose Marzan jr. I will post some of my pencil and inking art from this book soon, so be sure to visit this blog!

Hey Everyone! I inked a Variant cover to Black Hammer '45! Denys Cowan pencilled it and It should be out early May.

The Curse of Brimstone!

I recently inked an eight page story over Denys Cowans pencils! It's a backup story in the Annual issue and in a first for me, I was mentioned on Twitter!

I've never been a hashtag before! Neat!

Clinton Cash Graphic Novel

Now it can be told. I have been working on this project for a while, but I could not talk about it. Now that the conventions are over and the book has come out, I can say that I am one of the artists of the Clinton Cash GN.
I focused on the art and not the politics of it all and I'm happy at how it turned out. Brett Smith did a wonderful job Editing and Coloring the book!

Tombow Pen

I found this Tombow pen at the art store and thought I'd give it a try. I liked it! It has a small, sharp point that holds up to repeated use without shredding. The grey ink tip on the opposite end did not bleed into the black ink. I have been thinking about doing the 24 hour comics challenge, and if I do, I would do it with this pen. I would buy a bunch, but I would use this pen!

'Jersey Boys' Ten years gone!

Jersey Boys won the Tony for best Broadway Musical ten years ago! What a great success and it has played all over the world. I am so happy that I was a part of it as the Storyboard artist!
